Exterior of box has intricate floral multicolor decoration throughout. Two hinged handles which are also highly decorated and enameled. Adorned with cabochon emerald and ruby jewels throughout. Gold wash interior. Holds Ivan P. Khlebnikov Cyrillic workmaster mark with Double headed eagle mark. Anatoliì Apollonovich Artsibashev 1889 assayer marks. Postnikova-Loseva town marks. 84 silver purity mark. Weighs approximately 154 troy ounces (4789 grams). Measures 7" height x 10 3/4" length x 8" width (8cm x 27.5cm x 20.3cm).
