This work comprises three color photographs of Erwin Wurm’s famous ‘One Minute Sculptures’. This presentation is limited to an exclusive number of ten and is numbered, signed and dated by the artist. Although 60 seconds may seem extremely short for the presentation of a classic sculpture, the physical act of remaining in the same pose for 60 seconds is not as easy as it may sound. The active participation of the visitor supplies the work with its meaning and at the same time the participant becomes the work for the short period of time. Erwin Wurm takes on the tradition of performance art by the likes of Piero Manzoni or for example Yoko Ono.

The work is in very good condition. The upper corners of the cardboard, showing the title ‘One Minute Sculptures’, are minimally bumped. It is numbered, signed and dated in pencil lower right with ‘5/X, E. Wurm 97’. It measures 50 x 75 cm.
