Description
Pair of Japanese Bronze Champleve Vases, early 20th c., of baluster form, now mounted as lamps, decorated with Foo dog handles and enameled bands of lotus flowers and scrollwork, H.- 11 in., Dia.- 6 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. Both vases have a ½” diameter hole drilled in the side of the bronze, just above the carved wooden bases. Both lamps are in working order. There is moderate wear to the enamel surface throughout the champlevé decoration on both. A handsome pair.
