N., Philadelphia, October 8, 1892, to J. M. Stoddart. “…I find among my correspondence a note…in reference to an article for Lippincott’s Magazine…let me know just what you want and when you want it….†Affixed to the lower third of the letter is a 5†x 3†card signed by Richard E. Byrd and a Byrd Antarctic Expedition II commemorative stamp. The letter also shows scattered staining and some damage in the left margin.
