Description

A great ivory cane of six dogs. The ivory handle is 3” high and 2” at its widest. It depicts the heads of six dogs displayed under a cowl. There are three hounds, a terrier, an English bulldog and a French bulldog, all nicely detailed. There is a 1 1/4” silver collar that has worn London hallmarks for 1897. The shaft is ebony with a 3/4” well worn brass ferrule. The overall length is 35 1/3” and the condition is very good. It is part of the fine collection of Susan Kreh. Estimate: $1500-$2500
