Greek South Italy, Apulia, c.330 BC. A Calene-ware lekythos with female head nicely painted in profile facing left in white paint. All around are swirling designs in white and tan paint. A couple of bands of dotted designs adorn top and bottom. Portion of raised round base is missing, otherwise in choice condition.
