Roman, 4 th – 5 th Century AD. A modern gold ring with a raised bezel and ornate decoration. Centrally set is a glass intaglio imitating sardonyx with a goddess, which is difficult to make out due to some degradation of the glass. Weight 11.53g. Ring size roughly 9 ½. A good, wearable ring.
