Iran, Sasanian, 224 - 651 AD. A nice white chalcedony O type seal with eight raised circles on the handle. On base, Pahlavi inscription around flowers grouped in three. Some chipping, but a neat type. 14 x 18 x 14.3mm. Gobl pl. 32, 95b for type.
