Ecuador, Guangala, c. 500 BC – 400 AD. A fine 7 ¼" tall whistle figure, posed standing with arms to the sides. Delicately incised with intricate patterns to indicate clothing, jewelry and ritual tattoos. The buff slip is highly burnished, the ears are pieced, good tone on the built-in whistles.
