German, 800 fine silver cane in shape of wolfhound head with inlaid glass eyes, mouth agape with tongue protruding. Added sterling silver collar and plated base metal ferrule and attractive striped ebony shaft. Length of handle 4.5", overall length is 37". Stephen Grubb Collection.
