8vo, contemporary limp vellum, ff. [120].
Fine woodcut headletters, one of them (the G as “gioco” = game) representing two men playing bowling: an early printed illustration showing this sport.
First edition in Italian language of Visconti’s Lives, translated by Domenichi. The original edition of these Lives of the renowned Renaissance Princes of Milan, written in Latin, was published the same year in Paris.
