carved from the solid, finished in red and varnish, inscribed No. 5 to bow, fitted internally with cross boards, thwarts, bone handle, harpoon with rope, carved tiller, mounted on a single turned column of oval shape base with bone feet -- 4¼ x 11in. (11 x 28cm.)
