Goldenstedt, was built in 1907 by his own design. During WWII he adopted name of Vladimit F. Livin K. Golenshtedt settled in Vladivostok port in 1876. He was engaged in livestock and flower trade. In 1897 he clubbed with a Chinese Cha to by land for hotel. The best for that time hotel was built on that land. The building began in 1907. The design was in rational-modern style that was in fashion that times A movable wall streams down over unevenness of the ground, responding to slopes. Angular type of surface-spatial composition allows to distinguish central axis of the building Reverse Gromoboi (Thunderer) was an armoured cruiser built for the at the Baltic Shipyard in St, Peterburg in 1897- 1900. Since summer 1901 she served in the Russian Far East as a part of Pacific Squadron. During Russo- Japanese War she participated in combats on naval communications of the enemy. ON August 1, 1904 her crew suffered considerable losses. During WWI she took an active part in combats as part of the Second Cruiser Brigade. In 1922 she was sold to Germany for scrapping. She ran aground near Liepaja while under tow to Germany. She was scrapped in place.
