Keith Haring (American, 1958 - 1990). "Apocalypse [announcement]". Color offset lithograph. 1988. Signed by Haring in black marker, upper right. Edition unknown, presumed small. Cream wove paper. The full sheet. Fine impression. Fine condition; lot includes original pristine mailing envelope. Scarce. No auction records located. Printed to announce the publication of the joint effort "Apocalypse," a series of ten original silkscreens by Haring, accompanied by texts by Beat author William S. Burroughs. The portfolio was published by George Mulder Fine Arts, NYC, in a limited edition of 90 and printed by Rupert J. Smith. The legendary and remarkable photograph of the two artists is by Tseng Kwong Chi. It is featured on the cover of the exhibition catalogue of "Apocalypse" also published by George Mulder.
