A brass patent "Empire Clock" globe timepiece, with eight day movement within the pedestal, the rotating terrestrial globe with central chapter ring with Roman numerals, arrowhead pointer extending from the North Pole, the globe inscribed The Empire Clock, Cable , Patent 19460, 30 cm. high, early 20th century Patent 19460 was issue on 31st August 1906. An example of this clock can be seen at The Institute and Museum of the History of Science, Florence.
