Guy Hickok, journalist, friend and companion of a number of Paris writers, most famously Ernest Hemingway with whom he embarked on a trip through northern Italy. Wambly Bald, another Paris-based writer, made most famous by his series of articles about the lives and habits of the various Left Bank writers and artists that inhabited Paris at the time. A lovely association copy with an interesting provenance.
