Covered 3 1/2 inch cigarette jar, made at Rookwood for the Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. of Cincinnati and is covered with a mat green glaze. The lid is molded with the profile of a Legionnaire and a scroll and the base is molded Western and Southern Legion, while the bottom is marked with the Rookwood logo, the 1934 date and the insurance company's symbol. Uncrazed.
