Decorated Wine Madder 9 1/4 inch vase with red magnolia flowers and brown leaves boldly arrayed across the vase, the work of Elizabeth Barrett in 1946. Marked with the Rookwood logo, the date, shape 2783, an incised 3220 and the decorator's incised monogram. There is broad crazing, common to this glaze line, and some tiny grinding chips at the base as well as a very few pinpoint burst glaze bubbles.
