Large framed Rookwood Faience tile showing griffins, birds and varied decorative details on its 12 inch by 12 inch surface and then finished with a combination of matt and gloss glazes. Marked with the Rookwood Faience logo and shape 1950 Y. The tile has not been examined outside of its frame but there are edge chips that have been repaired. No crazing.
