Rookwood 6 1/4" mat vase, roses, Ley, 1945
Description
Mat glaze 6 1/4 inch vase with striking pink roses blooming against a blue ground, proficiently done by Kay Ley in 1945. Marked with the Rookwood logo, the date, shape 6666, an incised 4050 and the artistÕs incised monogram. No crazing but there is some peppering. The art is quite detailed and is very nicely done.
