Rookwood 9" Standard vase, KS, 1899, floral

Standard Glaze 9 inch vase decorated with pretty yellow narcissuses with green leaves by Kataro Shirayamadani in 1899. Marked with the Rookwood symbol, which provides the date, shape 829 and the artist's incised Japanese signature. There is a small wheel ground X due to some tiny bubbles in the glaze. Very fine crazing with nice, Art Nouveau style decoration.
