This is in very good condition for age. Blades have light tarnish which is easily cleaned up. Scabbard compartment has wear where blades have bitten the wood, but each sword still fits snuggly inside. Scattered nicks throughout the wood. Each lateral edge of scabbard shaft has two seams along them, which exhibit slight separation around swelling of the wood in those areas, but in neither case is the wood split through.
