Early Moche nice sized amulet carved in Serpentine. It depicts early version of the Moche chief deity Ai Apaec. Pendant has wonderful facial detail which portrays god showing typical fangs and still bearing cinnabar deposits throughout. Pendant measures just below 2” in height, and dates approximately, ca 100 300AD. Found in excellent condition.
