First published in 1815 and revised numerous times. Lacking the maps of the Isthmus of Darien and the Isthmus of Suez; also lacking half of the folding map of the National Road. The work was issued to compliment a large map by Melish, the first to represent the entire country, coast to coast. The map was sold separately, not accompanying any editions of the present work.

Extremities worn; foxing throughout; very good.
