Antique Lori runner, Fars province, S.W. Persia (Iran), Ca 1900 The Lurs are an indigenous Persian tribe found over a vast area of south-western Zagros and into Fars. Similar in character to their tribal neighbours the Quashq'ai and Khamseh, the original examples woven by semi-nomadic weavers are becoming rare. This is a good looking short runner showing originality and tribal character, with great colours and in good order. 243 x 103 cms, 7'11" x 3'5"
