Letter reads, ''Dear Mr. President... I should like, therefore, if you approve, to add to the Warm/ Springs Board Samuel H. Kress and Harrison Jones. Samuel H. Kress is head of the Kress Stores, many of which are in the south. He has always been interested in Warm Springs and has aided us liberally at times... If you approve the foregoing, simply so note on this letter and return it to me...'' Top right corner has rubber stamp with date and time ''1938 OCT 12 AM 10: 07.'' Matted and framed with 2 reproduced portraits of Roosevelt (seated, formal; and in wheel chair). Sight condition very good.
