Mexico, Jalisco, c. 250BC-250AD., a TALL and FANTASTIC standing female figure in yellow-creme colored slip!!!! A wonderful and highly detailed ceramic standing bare breasted female figure. She stands wearing tall turban headdress. In yellow creme colored slip she wears long skirt, fancy necklace, earspools and arm bands. Her feet are extremely large making this a quite impressive and striking example of West Mexican workmanship of the period. Some loses and repair mostly to upper head but in our opinion of negligible importance. A quality piece worthy of a strong bid!!! H:20.5".
