Description
An Egyptian steatite scarab and detail plague, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, the plaque with a cobra and falcon standing and the name of the god Amun-re on either side, (1.3 x 1 cm), and the scarab round-bodied with detailed head and legs, a seated goddess and signs on the base, (1.3 x 11 cm). Both intact with nice detail. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
