ABERDEEN EARL OF: (1784-1860) British Prime Minister 1852-55. D.S., Aberdeen, one page, 4to, Serjeants Inn Hall, 22nd December 1814. The manuscript document states, in part, that Aberdeen has 'disbursed the money, intrusted to me for Foreign Secret Service, faithfully, according to the Intent and Purpose, for which it was given, according to my best Judgement for His Majesty's Service'.
