Description
Six Blue and White Dishes, China, 15th to 18th century, a molded and lobed plate decorated with floral patterns at the center, encircled by floral-filled lappets, the exterior depicting the "Hundred Antiques" motif, coin and ribbon mark on base, dia. 8 3/4, a Kraak ware plate decorated with an insect, the rim decorated with a band of alternating flower and peach motifs, dia. 8 3/8, a dish with barbed rims, the center decorated with pagodas in a landscape scene, a band of auspicious items at the rim, dia. 7 5/8, a dish depicting a qilin, the exterior a band of flowers, dia. 7 1/2, a dish decorated with a central shou character and three stylized phoenixes, dia. 6 1/4, and a molded and barbed Kraak-style dish, decorated with auspicious symbols, dia. 5 1/2 in.
Condition
Condition: rim chips and glaze loss, restoration to qilin plate, firing crack on smallest dish.
