Two Snuff Bottles with Metalwork Ornamentation, China, 19th/20th century, a hexagonal rouleau-form tortoiseshell bottle encased in silverwork inlaid with gemstone beads, ht. 5 1/4; and a flattened globular-shape agate bottle encased in a floral metal filigree inlaid with turquoise and vermilion gemstones, the sides with two carved animal heads, the stopper enameled in pearly brown, ht. 3 in.

Condition: several gemstones missing; silver tarnishing; surface stain; stopper stuck to agate bottle.
