Title: Female Goddess wearing an elaborate diadem with holding a flute to her mouth. Elaborate flowing robe with arm scarfs and significant amount of original polychromes finish including remnants of gilding
Date: 19th or early 20th century
Medium: carved and plaster modelled wood sculpture retaining some original polychrome
Dimensions: 28 inches tall
Provenance: Ruth Frank , Pittsburgh (Ruth Frank travelled extensively in India and China in the 1960's and 1970's. She purchased extensively on her trips to repurpose her acquisitions into jewelry and decoration for her home and for friends
Condition
in good condition apart from age appropriate loss and cracking but generally intact
