Description
Beatles Signed "I Want to Hold Your Hand" 45 Picture Sleeve (Capitol 5112, 1964). The very familiar picture sleeve with a photo by Dezo Hoffman of the lads wearing their collarless suits, their first major hit in America. It is neatly signed by all four on or near their respective images, all in black ink. Hurriedly released by Capitol Records on December 26, 1963, this single hit the Billboard charts on January 18, 1964, at number forty-five and by the first of February, it zoomed to the Number One spot where it stayed for seven weeks. "I Want to Hold Your Hand" was performed on all three of their February 1964 appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. This was the band's biggest selling single worldwide and, especially in America, certainly the most iconic and desirable in autographed form. Matted and framed to an overall 16.5" x 16.5" (no glass). Toned a bit unevenly, overall fine. COA from Heritage Auctions.
