An Orson Welles 'Bell & Howell 240' 16mm Movie Camera, Circa 1957. Handheld, black leather strap at bottom, metal placard on front reads "Automatic / Exposure Control," housed in a brown leather case (case straps missing); used by Welles in 1962 to film his documentary "The Land of Don Quixote" though it wasn't released until 2000 in Spain; also used by him to shoot home and travel movies while living in Spain and Italy; working condition unknown; included with a letter from Beatrice Welles indicating she consigned this lot directly to Heritage Auctions.
