Description
Buddy Holly Childhood Leather Belt and His Copy of Leathercraft News (c. 1940-56). Small "alligator" print leather belt with a North and Judd brass buckle, size 20", worn by the young Charles "Buddy" Holley in the years before he became Rock and Roll star Buddy Holly. Buddy had a life-long interest in leathercraft; included with the belt is a copy of Leathercraft News trade newspaper, dated April 1956, and addressed to Buddy Holley in Lubbock. The belt is in FN condition with minor wear; the paper is folded, in VG+ condition. Both items have remained with the Holley family until now. From the Larry Holley Collection.
