Description
Led Zeppelin Canceled Concert Ticket Group (1975-80). Two important unused tickets for Led Zeppelin concerts that were never held; the first, comes from their highly successful tour following the release of the double album, Physical Graffiti. The ticket is for a March 8, 1975 show at the Palm Beach International Raceway, an event that included opening acts Bachman-Turner Overdrive and the J. Giles Band; the show was canceled when the organizers realized that the racetrack couldn't properly hold the expected crowd of 50,000. The second ticket is for a show scheduled on November 13, 1980 at the Chicago Stadium; this tour, scheduled to begin on October 17, 1980 was canceled following the death of drummer John Bonham on September 25. Both tickets are in NM condition.
