The Yardbirds First US Tour Carousel Ballroom Concert Poster (Bill Quarry's Teens 'n Twenties, 1965). After finding success in their native UK, the Yardbirds finally struck gold in America with the one-two punch of "For Your Love" (featuring guitarist Eric Clapton) and "Heart Full of Soul" (with Jeff Beck filling Clapton's spot, after Eric decided the Yardbirds had become "too Pop" and left to join John Mayall's Bluesbreakers). The band's first US tour began in August, 1965; here's an early poster for that tour, for an August, 25th date at San Francisco's Carousel Ballroom, and the following night at a San Leandro rollerskating rink. The first-printing poster measures approximately 18" x 24.25", and is in Very Good condition with minor stains, tack holes, and small edge tears.
