*sterling silver and FAUX tortoiseshell box. Made by William Comyns in London in 1906. Rectangular with concave sides, flared base, and 4 slipper feet. Swag applied to front. Cover is hinged and has inset FAUX tortoiseshell panel with Neoclassical silver ornament. Box interior lined with brown velvet.
