A 19th Century American Southwest/Mexican Embroidery. Unusual item of embroidery work on homespun linen includes gold thread and is decorated with iconic Southwest images of cotton blossom, bluebonnets, and steer horns. No apparent markings. Minor fading/wear. Panel measures 9 1/2" x 11 1/2" high, contained within a frame of a later date, 11" x 13" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-400
