This capital presumably dates to the 19th century. It shows a simplified Corinthian form and is carved on all four sides. The shaft with double-grooved fluting merges into short carved leaves of a plain form. The upper surface of the capital, is flat and uniform. Curled spirals adorn the center. Carved from one piece of natural stone by a master craftsman!
The capital has a good patina and shows minor material loss. The dimensions are 44 x 44 x 44 cm.
