Description
A late 19th century gold split pearl and enamel pendant and longguard chain. The pendant designed as a split pearl and blue enamel star, to the cannetille scalloped panel and tassel, suspended from a fancy-link longguard chain. Length of pendant 7.5cms. Length of chain 150cms. Weight 37.9gms.
Condition
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Glass panel and mount for panel to reverse deficient. Small, shallow dents to reverse. Minor abrasion to enamel. General discolouration. Longguard chain threaded through pendant surmount. One or other would need to be broken to detach the two. Minor repair to chain. Length of pendant includes fringe and tapered surmount. Length of central panel 3.5cms.
