The Good Samaritan Rembrandt. After Rembrandt etching by his official authorized artist Armond Durant. Mr. Durant spent countless hours reconstructing, restoring, refurbishing the worn original Rembrandt etching plates. Approx. 20x24 inches. Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn was a Dutch painter and etcher. He is generally considered one of the greatest painters and printmakers in European art history and the most important in Dutch history. Excellent Condition.
Condition
excellent. Amand Durand born in Paris, in 1831 became a master engraver early in his career. He deeply admired the 15th and 16th century old masters engravings. Amand Durand died in 1905 after he restored the original copper plates of Rembrandt.
