Wendy Prellwitz (20th-21st c.), "First Light #4," 2009, monotype on paper, measures 17.50 x 19 inches, signed lower right and numbered lower left #4. CONDITION: Good. Prellwitz is a respected artist and great-granddaughter of American painters Edith Mitchill Prellwitz, A.N.A., and Henry Prellwitz, N.A., two of the early summer residents of Peconic, Long Island. She has been featured in a number of regional art exhibitions and has been awarded prestigious fellowships from the Ballinglen Arts Foundation and the St. Botolph Foundation to study abroad.
