Meissen Schneeball "Snowball" chocolate pot the saucer exterior encrusted with small white flower heads and applied rose flowers and foliage, the interior on a ground of ivory and painted to depict assorted flowers, the cup with loop handle likewise decorated with applied rose branches and two canary yellow songbirds, the cover similarly decorated with gold vines serving as a handle upon which a songbird rests. Crossed swords mark in blue under glaze. Losses, repairs. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 4.5"H, Circa - Second half 19th C.
