A Meissen Schneeball "Snowball" decorated plate encrusted with small white flower heads each with a central stamen in yellow, to which are applied three flower spherules and branches and foliage in green and gold gilt with roses in yellow and pink, two resting yellow songbirds among the branches. Crossed swords mark in blue under glaze. Losses. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 9.125"W, Circa - Mid 19th C.
