A Meissen porcelain figure modeled as a sledge dog seated on his haunches with his left leg tucked underneath on a ground of blue white and accented in charcoal to the back and face, the neck ringed with a Prussian blue and gilt collar, his bold eyes a shade of cinnamon. Crossed swords mark in blue under glaze, incised, "967" and impressed, "131." Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 5.25"H, Circa - 1971.
