American Hepplewhite style tambour ladies desk in flame mahogany and maple, the top with urn shaped finials, over a stepped back central tambour section revealing two drawers and flanked by two small inlaid cupboard doors with string inlay, above a central section with two sets of two folding doors each revealing two pigeon holes over a single string inlaid drawer. The base with a flame mahogany fold out writing surface lined with green felt with supporting pull out lopers below flanking a central string inlaid drawer, the whole on four square tapered legs terminating in brass castors. 31" x 19" x 52" H Circa - 1850
