A Meissen porcelain figure of a French bull dog, its coat a ground of white accented with coal black to the face and salmon to the inside of the ears, the neck ringed in a malachite colored collar, the figure sits on its haunches with a characteristic expression. Crossed swords mark in blue under glaze, impressed, "22(?)", incised, "7881". Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. Repair to left ear. 6"H, Circa - 20th C.
