Linke style mahogany and ormolu vitrine in the Louis XVI manner. The marble top with canted corners over finely chased egg and dart gilt bronze mounts and a frieze mounted all around with gilt bronze guilloche enclosing rosettes framed by gilt bronze acanthus brackets, over a gilt bronze fascia molding over three beveled glass doors each framed by a gilt bronze Rais-de-cour molding, the base with further gilt bronze molding, standing on square tapered legs mounted with gilt bronze leafy sabots. The interior with mirror back and adjustable glass shelves. Provenance: The Estate of Mrs. W. A. Criswell, Dallas, Texas. 63" x 51" x 16". Circa - 1880.
