Lazarus Posen, Judaica .800 silver bowl supported on three shell feet, the bowl in the form of a parcel gilt scalloped shell upon which sits a winged putti holding a wreath aloft. Marked, "Posen .800M 2636," along with hallmarks for Germany. 9.0 troy ozs. Lazarus Posen was a Jewish silversmith active in Frankfurt (d. 1860.) His widow operated a retail store in Hanau into the 1920s. 6"H, Circa - Second quarter 19th C.
